ON-RAMP Program

On-Ramp is our name for our getting started program. It is required by all first time CrossFitters to complete the program before joining our regular classes. The focus of On-Ramp is technique (not intensity). 

We also strongly encourage you come to a Thursday mobility class as well. During On-Ramp sessions, we will teach, demonstrate, and drill how to perform functional movements correctly ranging from basic gymnastics, barbell foundations, and other common movement found in our program and then finish up with a workout .

Moving correctly is necessary for your results, sets your foundation, helps avoid injury and gives you the basic skills necessary for moving forward. The On- Ramp may be an easy experience for some, and a more difficult experience for others. No worries. Just keep in mind that this is a learning period to prepare you for mastering movement and building strength and stamina to tackle those WODs(Workout Of the Day) to come.

No CrossFit experience? No problem! Free trial classes are available every Thursday.  We are open 5:30-9:00am and 4:30-5:30pm.  To arrange a free trial please email brian@crossfitpeoria.com.

What can I expect of a ‘class’?

CrossFit Peoria classes consist of:

  • 5-10 minutes of  warm up/mobility/skill set

  • 10-15 minutes of skill instruction/strength aspect for the WOD (workout of the day)

  • 20-30 minutes for the WOD (workout of the day)

What results can I expect?

You can expect to get in the best shape of your life with CrossFit Peoria. Melt away 5-10 unwanted pounds, get out of the gym for a not-so-traditional workout, and cut your personal training fees by ¾.

You can also expect to get better core strength and a tighter backside, as well as functional strength and agility that apply to ALL sports and everyday life.
